Course Description

Winding along a coastal Atlantic dune ridge, the Ocean Links course provide golfers with five oceanfront golf holes. The fairways and greens are parallel to the beach of Amelia Island and meander through a unique coastal maritime hammock. Its close proximity to the ocean and the ever-changing sea breeze provide the golfer with exhilarating views and intriguing play.

Club Rental Information

Resort offers men’s and ladies’ right and left-handed clubs for rental. Resort does not offer golf shoes rentals, but shoes, gloves, and balls may be purchased from the golf pro shop. Taylor Made steel-shafted irons and woods are available for rent for $55.00 per 18 holes (Includes a sleeve of golf balls).

Charges for rental clubs ordered in advance of the outing can be put to your hotel guest room. Clubs ordered onsite must be paid at the pro shop prior to the outing.

Dress Code

At all times proper golf attire is required on the courses, driving range and practice range.

  • Acceptable attire: Collared shirts for men. Shirts with a finished collar for women. Long pants or walking shorts, which must be 17” from top of waist to bottom of hem (Bermuda length).
  • Unacceptable attire: T-shirts, tank tops, mesh shirts, halter tops, blue jeans, athletic shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits, gym shorts, short-shorts and tennis attire.
  • Omni Hotel & Resorts Amelia Island Plantation is a spikeless facility. The use of alternative spikes is required.


Note: "Par is Your Friend" ... in an effort to speed up play, we strongly advise each group to record nothing higher than Par. Once Par is reached, pickup your ball and move on.

Golf Outing Format

  • The format for the 2017 MFG Meeting golf outing event is Scramble.
  • Each player will hit a tee shot with the best drive being selected.
  • All players should then play from that point.
  • Simply repeat this process until the ball is holed.
  • Therefore, there should be 1 score per team per hole.
  • One scorecard in your group will be highlighted as your “Official Scorecard.” At the completion of your round, please turn your scorecard in to the professional staff located in the cart staging area.
